Distribution. Endemic to Carpathians: Poland, Romania, Ukraine.
Material examined. Zakarpatska Prov.: 1 spec. ( ZMHB) Czernahora (Reitter); Ivano-Frankivsk Prov. : 1 spec. ( SIZK) Vorokhta Distr. , Gadzhina locality, O. Petriv leg., 7.vii.1938 ; 1 spec. ( SIZK) Vorokhta Distr. Nesamovyte lake , W. Lazorko leg, 4.vii.1939 .
Biology. Alpine zone 1700–2000 m a.s.l., specimens found in grass-litter among snow fields. Adults occur in VI–VIII.
Note. Described from Chornohora Mountain Range.
