Distribution of dorsal macrosetae of whole body as in Figure 13 View FIGURE 13 C.

Remarks. The analysis of detailed dorsal chaetotaxy of S. paraibensis revealed some macrosetae not presented in the original description, like a6 and m6 on Th. III and B6, C4, T7, F4p and Fe6 on Abd. IV ( Bellini & Zeppelini 2009a). In the representation of Fig. 13 View FIGURE 13 C were also added a5 group on Th. II, omitted from the original description since it is near from the anterior setal collar and can be confused with it. Finally, Fig. 13 View FIGURE 13 C does not present the external macrosetae of Th. II since these setae commonly are not presented or named in Seira or even in Entomobryidae descriptions (see Soto-Adames 2008).

In the original description, S. paraibensis was compared to S. pseudoannulata Bellini & Zeppelini, 2008 ( Bellini & Zeppelini 2008b). After presenting the complete chaetotaxy of the species it is also clear S. paraibensis resembles in its dorsal chaetotaxy other two recent described species: S. primaria Godeiro & Bellini, 2014 and S. tinguira Cipola & Bellini, 2014 ( Cipola et al., 2014) . Along with some similarities on part of Th. II, Th. III, Abd. II and Abd. III dorsal setae, the three species share the presence of three homologous macrosetae on Abd. I (M2, M3 and M 4i). In the other hand, S. paraibensis is different from the other two species specially in head and Abd. IV chaetotaxy: it only presents 1+1 macroseta (Pa5) in the posterior cephalic region, while the other two species have several; in the sutural ‘S’ row: S. primaria has 6+6 macrosetae (S1, S2, S3, S4, S5 and S6) plus the unpaired S0; S. paraibensis has 7+7 macrosetae (S1, S2, S3, S4, S5, S 5i and S6), plus the unpaired S0; and S. tinguira has 6+6 setae (S1, S3, S5 and S6 as macrosetae and S2 and S4 as microsetae) and S0 is absent; on Abd. II S. tinguira presents a2 as macrosetae; in Abd. IV, ‘F’ and ‘Fe’ series are clearly distinct in the three species and S. paraibensis is the only species who lacks F2p and F 3p.
