SYNTYPE (unsexed specimen): ‘Philippi [hw] // Typus [p, red label, black margin] // Sericoides / rugulosa / Phil. Typ Chili [hw, green label]’.
SYNTYPE (unsexed specimen): ‘Philippi [hw] // rugulosa / Ph. Chili [hw, green label] // Typus [p, red label, black margin]’.
SYNTYPE (3 unsexed specimens): ‘Coll. Nickerl / Mus. Pragense [p]’.
Current status. Junior subjective synonym of Sericoides variolosa (Solier, 1851) , see, e.g.,
EVANS (2003).
