MICHOACÁN: Lago de Cuitzeo, Lago de Pátzcuaro, Lago de Zacapu, Manantiales de Cointzio: Kinosternon hirtipes ( Pérez-Ponce de León et al., 2001). TABASCO: Laguna El Espino: Trachemys scripta ( Aguilar-Aguilar et al., 2003) ; Laguna Emiliano Zapata: Rhinoclemmys areolata ( Dyer & Carr, 1990b) ; Río de Chilapa: Dermatemys mawii ( Caballero, 1943b) . VERACRUZ: Laguna de Alvarado: Terrapene ornata ( Caballero, 1939b) . YUCATÁN: Aguada Xpoc: Trachemys scripta (Moravec & Vargas- Vázquez, 1998a).

Specimens deposited: CNHE (2035-36, 2075, 2081-82, 2581, 2853, 3634, 3750-56, 4470, 4677).

Notes: Specimens from Guanajuato and Hidalgo were identified as Camallanus parvus ( Caballero, 1939c) , a species synonymyzed with Serpinema magathi ( Yeh, 1960) ; Baker (1979) tranferred C. parvus to the genus Serpinema pointing out that this species is probabily a synonym of Serpinema trispinosum . Material from Veracruz was used by Caballero (1939b) to describe Camallanus magnorugosus , a species tranferred to the genus Serpinema ( Yeh, 1960) , and currently considered a synonym of Serpinema trispinosum ( Moravec & Vargas-Vázquez, 1998a) . Records from Río de Chilapa, Tabasco, were determined as Camallanus scabrae ( Caballero, 1943b) , a species synonymyzed with S. trispinosum ( Baker, 1979) .
