Remarks. This subspecies is restricted to Bulgaria, Greece, Macedonia, Romania and Turkey (Růžička 2015). Tezcan et al. (2010) treated S. orientalis Brullé, 1832 as valid species and the synonym S. multipunctata Frivaldszky von Frivald, 1845 as distinct taxa. Information on localities for these taxa is here listed under S. obscura orientalis . In Turkey, S. obscura orientalis has mostly been recorded from the coastal regions of the Aegean and Marmara Regions ( Fig. 43 View FIGURES 43–44 ). Here reported for the first time from Bolu, Çorum, Denizli, Edirne, Eskişehir, Isparta, Kars, Konya, Kütahya, Mersin, Muğla, Muş, Nevşehir and Tekirdağ Provinces.
