Simocephalus (Simocephalus) latirostris Stingelin, 1906 ( Figs. 3 A–C )

Material examined. 5 specimens, collection number CINCAA 0089

Remarks. Originally described in Paraguay in 1906 by Stingelin, S. latirostris might be characterized by having a well-developed and acute posterior-dorsal angle of the carapace ( Fig. 3C ), a relatively large eye and lozenge ocellus ( Fig. 3B ); head free from spines or denticles; antennule long in correspondence with long rostrum ( Fig. 3B ) ( Elmoor-Loureiro 1997; Orlova-Bienkowskaja 1995, 1998).
