Type material: Holotype: female (SD 1240), LAOS: Khammouan Province: 2.5 km WNW Ban Tathot, Tham Kamouk , N17°37.897’, E105°0.502’ entrance, N17°37.994’, E105°07.195’ exit, 200 m, inner parts of limestone cave, by hand, 06 August 2016, P. Jäger leg. ( SMF). GoogleMaps

Additional material examined (3 juveniles): 1 juvenile (SD 1242) with same data as for holotype ( SMF) GoogleMaps . 2 juveniles with same data as for holotype, except: 24 November 2012, P. Jäger leg. ( SMF) GoogleMaps .

Etymology: The species name is derived from the type locality; term in apposition.

Diagnosis: Females of S. kamouk spec. nov. are similar to those of S. guap Jäger, 2012 in having strongly developed lateral lobes bulging ventrally and a simple internal duct system. They can be distinguished from the latter species by 1. presence of two eyes (six eyes in S. guap ), 2. lateral lobes rounded (tapering in S. guap ), 3. two slit sensilla (none recognized in S. guap ) and 4. anterior part of internal duct system nearly as wide as posterior part (anterior part of internal duct system wider than posterior part in S. guap ).

Description: Female (holotype): Total length 12.30; prosoma 6.10 long, 4.80 wide, anterior width of prosoma 2.70; opisthosoma 6.20 long, 3.70 wide. Eye measurements: remnants of lenses of ALE present, AME, PME and PLE absent. ALE 0.03; ALE–ALE 0.68; clypeus ALE 0.62. Measurements of palp and legs [IV: missing]: palp: 10.90 (3.30, 1.50, 2.60, 3.50); I: 34.60 (9.50, 3.40, 10.40, 9.20, 2.10); II: 36.20 (10.10, 3.60, 10.80, 9.50, 2.20); III: 32.00 (8.90, 3.20, 9.50, 8.40, 2.00). Spination: palp: 131, 101, 2120, 1114; legs: Fe I–III 323; Pa I–III 000; Ti I–III 2026; Mt I–II 0004, III 2014. Cheliceral furrow with 3 anterior and 4 posterior teeth.

Colouration in ethanol: Prosoma yellowish-brown, antero-laterally reddish-brown. Sternum yellow with brown margin. Opisthosoma grey without pattern, posterior part greyish-yellow, ventral part grey, laterally greyish-yellow. Chelicerae reddish-brown. Palps yellowish-brown; Mt darker brown. Legs yellowish-brown.

Copulatory organ as in diagnosis. Epigynal field nearly as wide as long with two anterior bands and two slit sensilla. Epigynal pockets forming circular margin around copulatory atrium. Copulatory atrium roughly triangular. Lateral lobes fused and posteriorly with wide and deep indentation. Fusion bubbles situated posteriorly and medially at epigyne. Internal duct system wider than long. Glandular appendages extending only in anterior half of internal duct system, short and only visible in lateral view. Internal duct system tube-shaped, wide and only fused at anterior part. Fertilization ducts arising postero-laterally.

Male: Unknown.

Distribution: Known only from the type locality.
