LOCALITY IN ZAMBIA: Type locality: Syntype male (³), 12–20 miles [19.4–32.3 km] W of Petauke [Altitude, 1700 ft., or 518.2 m] in Luangwa Valley , NE Rhodesia [now NE Zambia], Eastern Province .
