Stegana (Steganina) mailangang Li & Chen View in CoL , sp. nov.

( Figs. 11C, 11D View FIGURE 11 , 49 View FIGURE 49 )

Diagnosis. This species slightly resembles S. (S.) cyclophylla Chen & Chen, 2009 in the shape of hypandrium, pregonite, and subepandrial sclerite (as figs. 9–11 in Chen & Chen 2009, Fig. 49C, D, G View FIGURE 49 ), but can be distinguished from the latter by having the aedeagus distally with some minute, serrated processes ( Fig. 49C, D View FIGURE 49 ); the aedeagal sheath lacking serrated process ( Fig. 49E, F View FIGURE 49 ).

Description. Male: First flagellomere black. Clypeus yellow. Mesonotum black medially, dark brown laterally ( Fig. 11C View FIGURE 11 ). Katepisternum yellowish ( Fig. 11D View FIGURE 11 ). Scutellum black ( Fig. 11C View FIGURE 11 ). Halter mostly black ( Fig. 11D View FIGURE 11 ). Fore femur with a row of 3 long setae on distal part of posteroventral surface. Abdominal tergites black ( Fig. 11C, D View FIGURE 11 ); sternites brown, about 2 times as wide as long. Male terminalia ( Fig. 49 View FIGURE 49 ): Epandrium with ca. 14 setae on dorsal to posterior portions per side ( Fig. 49A View FIGURE 49 ). Surstylus with 1 peg-like tooth near distal margin and some setulae distally, lacking pubescence ( Fig. 49A, B View FIGURE 49 ). Cercus with much pubescence ( Fig. 49A View FIGURE 49 ). Hypandrium roundly expanded anteromedially ( Fig. 49C, D View FIGURE 49 ). Pregonite fused with hypandrium, with 3 sensilla ( Fig. 49C, D View FIGURE 49 ). Aedeagus roundly expanded distally, with some pubescence distoventrally ( Fig. 49C, D View FIGURE 49 ). Subepandrial sclerite vaulted, expanded dorsally ( Fig. 49G View FIGURE 49 ).
