Palmer n. 449, 1875 ” and the second in “ San Bernardino, Parry & Lemmon n. 376, 1876 ”. One of the two Palmer 449 specimens deposited in GH (00048797), where Watson worked, was chosen as the lectotype. This collection was also indicated by Rogers (1951), but the author did not mention the herbarium of deposition.
