15. Stillingia saxatilis var. grandifolia Chodat & Hassler (1905: 676) View in CoL .— Stillingia salpingadenia var. grandifolia (Chodat & Hassl.) Pax & Hoffmann (1912: 190) . Lectotype (here designated):— PARAGUAY. Province unknown: in campo pr. Igatimi, October, E. Hassler 4794 (G 00306614!, isolectotypes G 00306615!, G 00306617!, G00306619!). [= Stillingia scutellifera Rogers (1951: 235) ].
In the protologue of Stillingia saxatilis var. grandifolia, Chodat & Hassler (1905) mentioned E. Hassler 4794 found “ in campo pr. Igatimi ”. However, in G four specimens of this collection were found. The one deposited under G 00306614 is selected as the lectotype for containing fruit and flowers, and also because it is best conserved.
