Length: 9.5mm – 14.4mm (22 specimens).

Head: Black; diffusely punctate.

Antennae: Red-brown to brown; not reaching base of pronotum when laid alongside; A4–A10 serrate. Pronotum: Black; anterior half subparallel or slightly dilated anteriorly, conspicuously constricted towards base; diffusely punctate; length:width ratio 1.58:1.

Scutellum: Dark brown.

Elytra: Black; each elytron with a white lateral spot in the basal third and a white transverse fascia beyond middle spanning from lateral to sutural margins; diameter of punctures mostly larger than interstices, punctures within fasciae small and sparsely distributed, punctures narrow and elongate behind fascia, impunctate towards apex; length:width ratio 2.18:1.

Legs: Dark brown.

Lower surface: Dark brown to black-brown.

Vestiture: With yellowish hairs.

Distribution: Congo, Ivory Coast, Uganda.
