Distribution: United States of America, Mexico, Cuba, El Salvador, Guyana, Ecuador and Perú ( Johnson 1984). New country record for Brazil.
Material examined: Brazil, San Pablo, Sertãozinho: 14 females and 1 male, VI-1973, Bianchi coll., reared from eggs of an undetermined reduvioid on Saccharum officinarum (Poaceae) .
Hosts records: Zelus rubidus Lepetellier et Serville and Zelus sp. ( Hemiptera : Reduviidae ) ( Johnson 1984).
