Description. Bright reddish brown, with broad area along fore margin of crown continued laterally on to eyes, lateral margins of pronotum and outer margin of clavus white, bordered with dark brown; one longitudinal median stripe on crown continued on pronotum, one longitudinal stripe on exposed mesoscutum on either side of median line continued on lateral margins of mesoscutellum white margined by dark brown. Area laterad of median stripe on crown more reddish in male and reddish and orange in female. Face reddish brown in male and orange pale brown in female. Eyes black. Pronotum laterad of median stripe and mesad of latral stripe with reddish stripe and area between them orange brown in female. Exposed mesonotum orange brown. Thoracic and abdominal sterna ochraceous. Meta tibiae and tarsi dark brown. Forewing light reddish brown, venation red, forewing margins orange pale brown, veins reaching costal margin, veins bordering apical cells dark brown, inner margin of clavus till apex of inner claval vein, apices of claval veins and apex of clavus, dark brown.

Structure as described for the genus.

Male genitalia. Pygofer posterodorsal lobe along with apical spine-like process resembling head of a bird with beak. Aedeagus with dorsal apodeme about 1/3 as long as shaft, proximal dorsal and ventrolateral pairs of processes triangular, apical dorsal pair much shorter and triangular, ventral process longer and unpaired and directed ventrally, atrium ventral wall extended anteriorly for a short distance.

Female genitalia. Valvula I and II as in generic description.

Measurements. Male 7.0 mm long, 1.6 mm wide across eyes and 1.7 mm wide across posterolateral margins of pronotum. Female 7.0– 7.1 mm long, 1.8 mm wide across eyes and also across posterolateral angles of pronotum.

Material examined. HOLOTYPE ♂, INDIA: Karnataka: Sirsi: Navanagere, 24.iv.2005, at light, Radhamani ( UASB) . Paratypes: INDIA: Karnataka: 1 ♀, Jog Falls 534m, 18.xi.1976, C.A. Viraktamath ; 1 ♀, 36 Km, W Jog Falls , 18.xi.1976, C.A. Viraktamath ; 1 ♀, Belgaum: Castle Rock , 569m, 26.x.2011, At light, Yeshwanth ( UASB, NBAIR) .

Etymology. Specific epithet refers to the most colorful body of this species.
