Comments. This species is known from a single taxonomic entry. Judging from the habitus, pattern, and shape of the epigyne, it undoubtedly belongs to Synema . Although the abdominal pattern in specimens from two localities looks similar, their epigynes are rather different: the specimen from Arero has a broader transverse plate. The figure of epigyne provided by Caporiacco (1939) was printed upside down ( Fig. 6F View FIGURE 6 ).
