Description. Male. Body medium and slender, wings absent.
Head. Face ovoid; fastigium verticis about as wide as scape, with impressed scattered dots; fastigium frontis separated from fastigium verticis by a very fine suture ( Fig. 10A). Ocelli indistinct.
Thorax. Anterior margin of pronotum faintly projecting, posterior margin concave ( Fig. 10B); lateral lobes longer than high, anterior and posterior angles widely arched, humeral sinus indistinct ( Fig. 10C). Fore coxae with 1 small spine. Fore and middle femora unarmed; hind femora ventrally with 4–6 internal and 1–2 external spines. Fore and middle tibiae with 4 pairs of spurs and 1 pair of apical spurs on ventral surfaces, middle tibiae with 1 internal spur on dorsal surface. Hind tibiae dorsally with 5–6 internal spines, 5 external spines and 1 pair of apical spurs, ventral surface with 1 pair of subapical spurs and 2 pairs of apical spurs.
Abdomen. Second abdominal tergite with 1 short row and 1 long row stridulatory pegs; third abdominal tergite with two rows of stridulatory pegs ( Fig. 10D). Eighth abdominal tergite faintly prolonged ( Fig. 10E). Ninth abdominal tergite prolonged and decurved; ventral margin semi-circular, with 1 small spine on each side, its tip acute and faintly incurved ( Fig. 10H). Subgenital plate longer than wide, roughly rectangular in ventral view; lateral margin concave; posterior margin with 1 median concavity; styli short, roughly cylindrical, inserted at lateral angles of approaching part of margins.
Female. Subgenital plate long than wide, with a pair of copulatory depressions in middle on ventral surface, lateral margins faintly convex, posterior margin bilobate ( Fig. 11F). Ovipositor short, gradually upcurved behind basal area, regularly narrowing from base to tip; tip subacute ( Fig. 11E).

Measurements (mm). Male: BL 17.36–19.57, PL 4.60–4.87, HFL 10.15–10.43; Female: BL 20.17–21.65, PL 5.50–5.58, HFL 10.16–11.38, OvL 9.86–9.94.
Material examined. Holotype: male, Jianfengling, Ledong , Hainan, May 25, 2024, coll. by Yanting Qin . Paratypes: 1 female, the other information as holotype; 1 male and 2 females, Jianfengling, Ledong , Hainan, May 26, 2024, coll. by Yanting Qin .
Distribution. Hainan (Ledong).
Discussion. The new species differs from Tenuigryllacris fruhstorferi (Griffini, 1914) by the posterior margin of male subgenital plate narrower and shallower, female subgenital plate longer.
Etymology. The new species is named after the type locality.
