Description

Length: 10–12 mm (5 specimens)

Head including eyes more or less as broad as apex of pronotum; black­blue; finely punctate; with short, pale and longer, dark (brown) hairs; antennae red, club dark.

Pronotum longer than broad (length:width ratio 1.22); coarsely punctate; lateral margin subparallel to circular, constricted towards base; black­blue; with sparse brown pubescence.

Elytral ground color yellow­brown to orange or red, reduced to three fasciae, or elytral ground color predominant, with the black­blue fasciae reduced to an anterior spot in the middle, a heart­shaped spot and a broad apical spot behind the middle.

Elytra almost three times as long as broad (length:width ratio 2.93); anterior to middle regularly punctate in rows, behind middle irregularly punctate; diameter of punctures larger than intervals, within orange spots (ground color) smaller than intervals; some intervals protruding, similar to a ridge; sutural angle acute.
