Triphleba ehmseni View in CoL sp. n.
( Figs 128–137 View FIGURES 128–137 ).
Material examined. Holotype male, DENMARK, DK SJ, Buntje Ballum , 17.v–8.vi.2014, Esben Bøggild (UCMZ-8-59). Description. Male. Head as Fig. 128 View FIGURES 128–137 . Postpedicel of antenna as Fig. 129 View FIGURES 128–137 . Thorax as Fig. 130 View FIGURES 128–137 , the anterior scutellars being small hairs. Abdominal tergites brown, with moderate hairs that are longer laterally on T2 and longest at rear of T6. Venter pale gray and lacking hairs. Hypopygium as Figs 131–133 View FIGURES 128–137 . Front leg as Fig. 134 View FIGURES 128–137 . Middle leg as Fig. 135 View FIGURES 128–137 . Hind femur and tibia as Fig. 136 View FIGURES 128–137 . Wing ( Fig. 137 View FIGURES 128–137 ) 1.5–1.6 mm long. Costal index 0.53. Costal ratios 3.6: 1.8: 1. With a single axillary bristle ( Fig. 130 View FIGURES 128–137 ). Haltere dark ( Fig. 130 View FIGURES 128–137 ).
Recognition. In the keys to Palaearctic species (Shcmitz, 1943) it runs to couplet 69, lead 2 to T. hentrichi Schmitz (1935) , but is immediately distinguished by its narrower paler palps with several robust bristles in addition to the longer terminal bristle. Those of T. hentrichi are fewer and much less robust. The hypopygia are similar but the tip of the left epandrial process is less symmetric in T. hentrichi .
Etymology. Named after Erhardt & Kirsten Ehmsen in whose premises the holotype was trapped.
