Material examined: 1 3, labelled ‘ India, W.W. Saunders, 1868-4’ (BMNH).

Comments: This specimen ( Fig. 57 ) was discussed by Hancock and Drew (2005). It is also labelled ‘ Trypeta cylindrica Walker’, an apparent manuscript name previously confused with Chyliza cylindrica (Walker) , a species of Psilidae , It is not formally described here since the specimen lacks precise locality data; more material is required.
