Description of Vibrio gigantis LPB View in CoL 0246
Cells are Gram-staining-negative, non-flagellated and comma-shaped. Colonies are circular, entire, convex, smooth and cream-colored after 3 days of incubation on MA at 25° C. Negative reactions are obtained for glucose fermentation, arginine dihydrolase and β -galactosidase in API 20NE. Does not utilize D- glucose, L- arabinose, D- mannose, D- mannitol, N -acetyl-glucosamine, D- maltose, potassium gluconate, capric acid, adipic acid, malic acid, trisodium citrate and phenylacetic acid. Strain LPB0246 About LPB (= NIBRBAC000502433) was isolated from a sea water sample, Jukdo , Ulleungdo, Gyeongsangbuk-do, Korea .
