Remarks: This species is characterized by an elongate test, usually reaching the maximum width very early in development. The sutures are distinct but not raised.
Stratigraphic distribution: This species was originally described from the Chapapote Formation (Eocene) of Mexico. In the study area, it is recorded in the Paleocene ( Morozovella trinidadensis Zone and Morozovella uncinata Zone ).
