Type material examined. Mazarredia lochengensis : holotype, ♀, China: Guangxi prov., Locheng County, Pingying , 27 July 2003, in IZSNU ( Fig. 7a ). Xistra oculata : holotype, ♂, China: Guangxi prov., Shanglin County, Damingshan Mountain , 17 July 2012, in IZSNU ( Fig. 7b ) ; paratypes, 2 ♂ 2♀, the same data as holotype, IZSNU ( Fig. 7c ) .

Notes. Mazarredia lochengensis is not a Mazarredia species because lateral margins of vertex turned backward and slightly exerted above upper margin of eyes; in frontal view, vertex with V-shaped concavity. It belongs to Xistra Bolívar, 1817 . We have examined the type specimens of Mazarredia lochengensis and Xistra oculata , and found that structures and coloration of the body are the same in both taxa. Therefore, Xistra oculata is here considered a synonym of of Mazarredia lochengensis [= Xistra lochengensis (Zheng, 2005) , comb. nov.]
