Remarks. This is a rare sawfly with published collection records of only seven specimens from Honshu (Kanagawa Prefecture, Nagano Prefecture and Nara Prefecture ) and Shikoku (Ehime Prefecture). The specimen listed above is the eighth specimen to be recorded and represents the first distribution record from Tochigi Prefecture.
