Description. See Forest (1987a: 61) and McLaughlin & Lemaitre (2009: 182).

Size. Largest male sl 7.2 mm, largest female sl 7.8 mm, ovigerous females sl 5.3–7.8 mm.

Distribution. Previously known from Taiwan, Philippines, Indonesia, Solomon Islands; 148–620 m (McLaughlin & Lemaitre 2009). Newly recorded from Papua New Guinea.

Habitat. Hollows in sunken wood (McLaughlin et al. 2007; McLaughlin & Lemaitre 2009; this study)
