Type genus: Ycaploca Nagy, 1975 .
Diagnosis. Basal surface of mandible with a strong depression, condyles depressed in relation to apical portion of mandible; medioapical edge of medial lobe of clypeus incurved; F1 shorter than 0.7× F2 length; frons raised, with lateral margins of elevation carinated; posterior surface of propodeum with a weakly defined median longitudinal carina above propodeal foramen; metatibia with one apical spur; marginal, submarginal and medial cells closed by tubular veins; 2r-rs&3Rs (basal part of vein Rs in marginal cell) before insertion of vein 2rs-m longer than 2× vein 1m-cu on forewing; 1Rs + M far shorter than 2Rs + M on forewing; vein Sc + R restricted to base of hindwing.
