D i s c u s s i o n. The genus Zamites is based on the material from Jurassic localities from Yorkshire ( Great Britain). The occurrence of this genus is confirmed from the Peruc-Korycany Formation of the Bohemian Cretaceous Basin by Knobloch and J. Kvaček (1997).
