Pseudogeoplana blaseri (Schirch, 1929) View in CoL Figure 19 View Figure 19

Geoplana blaseri Schirch, 1929. Type locality: unknown locality in the State of Espírito Santo, Brazil.

Geoplana blaseri : Ogren and Kawakatsu 1990: 114.

Pseudogeoplana blaseri : Carbayo et al. 2013: 524.

Remarks.

We received only one specimen identified as Pseudogeoplana blaseri . This specimen exhibits an aspect different from that of the original description. The external aspect was illustrated by Schirch (1929) (Fig. 19 View Figure 19 ). In Schirch’s collection, no specimen resembles the original description of Ps. blaseri . A mislabeling must have happened prior to deposition or during the curation of the material. Thus, the holotype of Ps. blaseri should be considered lost. Nonetheless, we studied this available mislabeled specimen and provide further evidence of mislabeling (see " Dolichoplana sp." in the following section).
