Material examined. CHINA, Hebei: 1♁, Lianhuachi, Mt. Wuling, Xinglong , 1800 m, 1.VIII.2000, leg. YL Du & ZD Li, slide No. W 00145 .

Diagnosis. Adult ( Fig. 20 View FIGURES 17‒23 ). Wingspan 19.0–22.0 mm. Agonopterix kaekeritziana can be distinguished by the forewing with a black spot on the outer margin of the cell surrounded by bright red orange scales, and with a large dark brown patch below the black spot; and by the cuiller curved in S shape in the male genitalia ( Fig. 42 View FIGURES 42‒45 ). It is similar to A. broennoeensis ( Strand, 1920) , and the differences between them can be found in the diagnosis of the preceding species.

Distribution. China (Hebei), Turkey, Mongolia, Europe ( Lvovsky 2001a).
