Description of holotype. Length: 10.5 mm. BODY. Shape: cuneiform; Build: robust; Color (dorsally): unicolored. HEAD. Medial impression: deep. Vertex. Medial impression: present; Sculpture elements: rugae; Sculpture aspect: arcuate; Sculpture density: dense. Eyes. Size: subequal or larger than width of vertex (dorsal view); Lower margin: in line or below antennal socket; Median orbit: converging ventrally. Antennae. Serration: from antennomere 4. PRONOTUM. Shape: visually transverse; Sides: markedly arcuate; Maximal width: at middle; Anterior margin: subequal to posterior. Anterior lobe. Development: moderate; Shape: arcuate; Width: broad; Position: at level with anterior angles. Posterior angles. Shape: obtuse; Apex: blunt. Disk. Convexity: flat; Impressions: medial and lateral; Medial impression: anteromedial and posteromedial; Lateral impressions (depth): deep; Lateral impressions (width): broad. Prehumerus. Variability. Body length: 9.6–10.5 mm. Without discernible variability except for the size. Sexual dimorphism. The species is known only from males. The male has prosternal process with obvious medial carina and protibiae with a comb of long setae on inner margin. These characters in Agrilus are a sexual dimorphism.

Type material. Type locality: Malaysia, Pahang, Tanah Rata, Gunung Jasar env., 4°28'N, 101°22'E, altitude 1400–1600 m. Type specimens. Holotype ♂, 1 ♂ PT ( EJCB): “ Malaysia, Pahang, Tanah Rata, Gun. Jasar env., 4°28'N, 101°22'E, 1400–1600m, 8.iii.–7.iv.2011, R. Hergovits leg.”. GoogleMaps

Distribution. MALAYSIA: Pahang

Etymology. Patronymic; the species is named in honor of William Cameron who surveyed Cameron Highlands in mid-1880s.
