Comments. This species was described based on the holotype male from Biskra ( Algeria). Its size reported as 12 mm (6 mm carapace and 6 mm abdomen) in length. Roewer (1960a) provided figures of the habitus and tegular apophysis together with the tip of the embolus and the conductor. In his figure, the habitus lacks parallel stripes on a median band characteristic to all other Trochosa occurring in Palaearctic .
