Anarsia pursatica Park View in CoL , sp. nov.

( Figs. 2, 2 View FIGURES 1 – 5 a, 7, 7a–b)

Type. Holotype: Male, CAMBODIA, Osam , Pursat Prov., 3 v 2010 (Bae et al.), gen slide no. CIS-6707.

Diagnosis. This new species is more or less close to A. kepensis Park, 2016 , which was described from Kep, Cambodia, in having a similar ground color pattern of the forewing, but the new species is larger, the forewing has a long brownish expansible long hairpencil on underside basally, and the third segment of the labial palpus is atrophied. The abdominal sternite VIII has a unique character, with a pair of processes on caudal margin as shown in the Fig. 7 View FIGURES 6 – 9 b.

Description. Male ( Figs. 2, 2 View FIGURES 1 – 5 a): Wingspan 15 mm. Head clothed with pale orange scales, tipped with white apically, with longitudinal median grayish orange line on vertex; frons as same as vertex. Scape of antenna densely covered with dark brown scales dorsally; flagellum brownish with indistinct annulations. Second segment of labial palpus nearly quadrate, large, with a scale tuft antero-ventrally, densely clothed with black scales on outer surface, pale brownish orange along upper margin, paler with grayish white in upper 3/4 on inner surface; 3rd segment atrophied in male. Tegula and thorax grayish orange, speckled with black scales. Forewing elongate; ground color grayish orange, mottled with brown scales; various black streaks developed along veins, especially plical line distinct with black scales; costal patch absent; with a long, mustard brown expansible hairpencil on under surface of the forewing basally, densely clothed with black scales in discal cell on under surface; venation similar to that of the preceding new species. Hindwing broader than forewing, grayish white, with a broad costal expansion same as in the preceding species ( Fig. 4 View FIGURES 1 – 5 -b); a long expansible hairpencil near base in above cell on the upper surface present; apex less acute; fringe gray; venation also similar to that of the preceding new species. Female unknown.

Male genitalia ( Figs. 7, 7 View FIGURES 6 – 9 a): Abdominal sternite VIII with a pair of short, acute processes medially on caudal margin ( Fig. 7 View FIGURES 6 – 9 b). Uncus short, with blunt apex, less than 1/2 length of socius. Socius large, broadened, broader than distal part of tegumen, width longer than length, with long hairs along lateral margin. Tegumen moderately wide, slightly narrowed medially. Valvae asymmetrical. Left valva elongate-oval, inflated basally, narrowed toward apex; distal part triangular, with small area of patch with modified scales, apical process absent; basal sclerotized process arising from base ventrally, strongly bent beyond middle. Right valva more or less slender, sclerotized, broadened at base, gently arched, with a short process on ventral margin before distal patch; patch elongated, trapezoidal, with normally modified scales. Phallus curved, S-shaped, flattened in distal 1/3, as long as 3/4 of left valva
