Anisotoma basalis is newly recorded in New Brunswick and Newfoundland ( Fig. 8 View Fig ). It is listed as occurring in Nova Scotia by Peck (1991). Adults have been found between April and September. Slime mold hosts include Stemonitis axifera , S. fusca , Stemonitis splendens Rostaf , and Fuligo sp. ( Wheeler 1979).
