ii. Austrotachardia melaleucae ( Maskell 1892) View in CoL :

Western Australia, Perth, on Kunzea (Myrtaceae) and Melaleuca sp. ( Myrtaceae ) (USNM): 1/6ad ♂♂ (very poor, uncleared). Very little could be seen on these specimens, but the follow- ing details appear significant: (i) antennal segment X with 4–6 capitate setae; (ii) ocelli well developed; (iii) each leg with 2 tibial spurs; (iv) hamulohalteres absent; (v) glandular pouch setae unusually long; (vi) caudal extension of abdominal segment VIII large and rounded; (vii) penial sheath similar to that of T. aurantiaca , with aedeagus appearing to reach tip of penial sheath, and (viii) without setae on the basal membranous area but with several long setae on lateral margins of segment IX (as on other species).
