Notes:—Brade (1957) published Begonia fruticosa var. robusta as a new variety with the annotation ined. The use of ined. by the author invalidates the name of the variety. Therefore B. fruticosa var. robusta is an invalid name (Art. 36.1 of ICN, Turland et al. 2018).
