Irwin and Webb (1992:87) considered Psilocephala parvula Kröber View in CoL to belong in the genus Brachylinga View in CoL . After examining the holotype male, it was determined that P. parvula View in CoL should be placed in the genus Penniverpa View in CoL and this combination change is formally made here.
