First record from Armenia: Harutyunyan (1985a) as Brachyunguis tamaricifoliae Hall on Tamarix octandra (M. Bieb.) Bunge and Brachyunguis tamariciarum Ivanovskaya on Tamarix ramosissima Ledeb.

Distribution in Armenia: Yerevan Botanical Garden and Armavir province (surroundings of Etchmiadzin, now Vagharshapat town), as Brachyunguis tamariciarum Ivanovskaya ( Harutyunyan 1985a) .
