Type locality. Bad Radkersburg ( Austria) .

Stratigraphy. Middle Miocene, Sarmatian (Volhynian)

Discussion. The specimen from the Sarmatian of Styria ( Austria) illustrated by J. de C. Sowerby (1832) is clearly conspecific with Tiaracerithium pictum .

Central Paratethys. Sarmatian, Volhynian (Middle Miocene): Styrian Basin: Bad Radkersburg ( Austria) (J. de C. Sowerby 1832).
