Distribution: NF to the panhandle of FL to LA to eastern OK to MN. Kentucky specimens were from the southeastern quarter of the state (in the two Appalachian ecoregions; Map 040).

Comments: Adults are usually found (often in numbers) on the leaves and flowers of their host during the day.
