Material examined: Dominican Republic: 1 male, Cord. Central, Armando Bermudez Nat. Park , 1000 m, FIT, 12–22.I.1988 ; broadleaf forest, Malaise Trap, 12–22.I.1989 ( PMA) ; 1 male: Pedernales Prov., Sra. Bahoruco, 540 m, VII. 1990 ( CNCI) .

Remarks. This species is also known from Bolivia, Perù, Brazil ( Olmi, 1995a) and Panamá ( Cambra, 2001). In the last years I also examined male specimens from the following localities:

Costa Rica: Alajuela Prov., Cord. Tilaran, Peñas Blancas , 700 m, Malaise Trap, II.1987 ; rain forest, IX–X.1986; Malaise Trap, 1–10.I.1987; primary rain forest, Malaise trap, 1.VIII.1987 ( PMA, CNCI) .
