Interstage forms: TURKEY: Urfa and environs, 7.1931, 2 males, 3 females (Eshref Bey) ( NHMUK) ; Urfa, 1931, 1♂, 2♀ (leg. Sureya) ( MfN). These specimens have more blackened basal part of hind wings, and nearer to the nominotypical form (see E. gibbera lata below).

Remarks. This species was recorded as Eremopeza gibbera ( Stål, 1876) by Jabbari et al. (2015) from Khorasan, E. Iran, which should be confirmed. The distribution of this species does not cover eastern Iran.
