Notes

Euryops chrysanthemoides is native to the Cape Province of South Africa. It is frequently cultivated as an ornamental and easily escapes; as a result, it is also found as a weed of roadsides, disturbed areas and urban open spaces. It is sometimes considered to be an invasive species, especially in parts of Africa where it is not native ( Henderson 2002, Witt and Luke 2017). It is also weedy in, for instance, Australia, New Zealand and Hawaii.

In La Vega in Tenerife, scattered bushes are growing alongside the road, on top of a rock wall. This species had not been recorded before in the Canary Islands.
