C o m m e n t: Originally described from the Perister (= Pelister) range in Macedonia, this species was recorded from Greece (Oros Vitsi) for the first time by ASSING & WUNDERLE (2001). Additional records from the same region were reported by ASSING (2006) and SOLODOVNIKOV (2005). The currently known distribution is illustrated in Map 2 View Map 2 . Whether this species is a true inhabitant of the MSS stratum is doubtful. The previously published material from Greece was collected by sifting leaf litter in calcareous beech forests and debris near snowfields. The altitudes range from 1340 to 2040 m.
