Distribution. Linepithema tsachila was recorded in the departments of Chocó and Valle del Cauca in East and Southeast of the country ( Wild 2007); in this work, we expand the distributional records to the department of Nariño ( Fig. 3 View FIGURE 3 ).
Biology. Linepithema tsachila ranges from 286–1800 m and has been collected in very humid tropical forest and very humid premontane forest.
Examined material. NARIÑO: Barbacoas, Tajadas , 1°39’21”N 78°9’55”W, 1000 m (IAvH); El Diviso GoogleMaps , 520 m (IAvH); Ricaurte, La Planada, 1800 m (IAvH). VALLE DEL CAUCA: Bajo Anchicayá (IAvH).
