1969). Type:— GREENLAND. Kânâk , Red Cliff Peninsula, NW. Greenland, in deep, vertical dry cleft formation bedrock by ice
action, plateau between coastal hills and ice cap, 1500-1600 feet, 4 miles northwest of village, Schuster RMS 45649
(holotype F-2142374). Ξ Lophozia longidens var. arctica (R.M.Schust.) Schljakov, Petjen. Mchi Sev. SSSR 3: 108, 1980 ( Schljakov 1980). Ξ Lophozia pellucida f. arctica (R.M.Schust.) Bakalin, Monogr.
