Meleonoma dorsibacilliformis sp. nov.

( Figs. 5 View FIGURES 3‒8 , 21 View FIGURES 19‒24 )

Type material. CHINA, Guangxi: Holotype ♂, Mt. Dayao (24.15°N, 110.21°E), Jinxiu County, 1364 m, 19.VII.2015, leg. MJ Qi & SN Zhao, slide No. YAH15415. GoogleMaps

Diagnosis. The new species is similar to M. dorsolobulata Wang, 2016 in the male genitalia, but can be distinguished by the valva sub-parallel from middle to apex, the sacculus with a clavate process, and the slender saccus longer than the uncus. In M. dorsolobulata , the valva is produced dorsoapically, the sacculus has a lobate process, and the wider saccus is as long as the uncus ( Yin &Wang 2016b: 136, Fig. 7 View FIGURES 3‒8 ).

Description. Adult ( Fig. 5 View FIGURES 3‒8 ). Forewing length 4.8 mm.

Head yellow (worn). Labial palpus yellow; second segment with scattered blackish grey scales, forming a blackish grey annulation at apex; third segment shorter than second segment, tinged with blackish grey scales medially. Antenna yellow; flagellum annulated with blackish grey.

Thorax yellow (worn); tegula blackish brown basally, yellow distally. Forewing parallel from base to basal 3/4, then slightly narrowed to narrowly rounded apex; ground color yellow, mottled with greyish black scales; costal spot greyish black, slightly beyond middle; apical patch greyish black, rounded; tornal spot greyish black; discal and plical spots black (worn); fringe greyish black, mixed with greyish yellow. Hindwing and fringe greyish black. Legs yellow; on ventral surface, fore coxa and femur mixed with blackish brown scales, tibiae of fore- and midlegs blackish brown mixed with yellow scales, all tarsi blackish brown except yellow at apex of each tarsomere.

Male genitalia ( Fig. 21 View FIGURES 19‒24 ). Uncus slender, spine-shaped, narrowed from base to pointed apex. Gnathos weakly sclerotized laterally, reaching anterior margin of tegumen, membranous anteriorly. Tegumen crescent, widened medially, narrowed anterolaterally. Valva with distal half sub-parallel to rounded apex; costa straight, reaching middle of valva. Sacculus sub-quadrate; apex heavily sclerotized, forming a narrow densely setose band; dorsal margin with a slender, clavate process extending from middle horizontally outward, far exceeding apex of sacculus, rounded apically. Saccus elongate, longer than uncus, wide at base, narrowed to basal 1/3, parallel from basal 1/3 to pre-apex, apex narrowly rounded. Juxta U shaped. Aedeagus shorter than 1.5 times length of valva; basal half tubular; distal half almost membranous, with two sclerotized bands: shorter band inflated distally, longer band straightly slender.

Female unknown.

Distribution. China (Guangxi).

Etymology. The specific epithet is derived from the Latin dors - and bacilliformis, referring to the clavate process at the dorsal margin of the sacculus in the male genitalia.
