• 09°30′S, 77°26′W; 4,000 m asl: Type Locality: Ancash Region, near Huaraz, mosses on rocks. Michalczyk & Kaczmarek (2003b)

Record numbers: Peru: 1; total: 1.

Remarks: Currently endemic to Peru. Minibiotus constellatus is very similar to Minibiotus sidereus (described from Ecuador in the same year) and these two species require careful examination to ensure a correct identification.
