This is another Mycophila with a scattered Holarctic distribution, but known also from Taiwan ( Gagné & Jaschhof 2014). The only Swedish specimen of M. speyeri known to us is from Gotland and was collected in the wild.

Material. Male (CEC37), Sweden, Gotland, Roleks, 17 July–9 Aug. 2005, SMTP (trap 28, collecting event 1467).
