Odocnemis intrusicollis ( Seidlitz, 1896)

Seidlitz, 1896: 726, 733, 753 [ Helops (Stenomax) ]; Gebien, 1942: 429 [ Cylindronotus (Omaleis) ]; Nabozhenko, 2008: 37 ( Odocnemis ); Nabozhenko & Löbl, 2008: 244 ( Odocnemis ).

Note. This species is unknown for us. Seidlitz (1896) compared O. intrusicollis with Odocnemis nigropiceus Küster, 1850 (the tuberculigera species-group) from Greece, which also has elytra without tubercles. The species is described by a female (or females).

Distribution. Cyprus.

In addition, Odocnemis crenatostriatus ( Allard, 1877) was listed from Famagusta ( Cyprus) by Freude (1952). But this species is known only by one syntype (studied, collection MNHN) from Cephalonia Island in the Ionian Sea ( Greece) and its distribution in Cyprus is doubtful.
