No specimens found in the MHNG. According to Andrés Cobeta (2001: 70) the holotype is in the NMCN ( MNCN 20.07/1171). Odontopyge fasciata Carl, 1905 is a junior homonym of O. fasciata Attems, 1896 . The replacement name Odontopyge johanncarli is proposed here for O. fasciata Carl, 1905 .
