Oemopteryx contorta ( Needham & Claassen, 1925) View in CoL

was described from Jaffery, New Hampshire and has been reported from adjacent states of Alabama ( Grubbs 2006), Tennessee ( Nelson 1982), and North Carolina ( Kondratieff et al. 1995). This species of Brachypterainae was collected from a 2 nd order stream in the Appalachian Plateau Physiographic Province in the northwest corner of Georgia.
